On July 25th the Rescue Mission of Trenton will be hosting “Recovery & Reentry: Rebuilding Lives” at ETS in Princeton. The event will feature keynote speaker Governor Chris Christie who will discuss his initiative to expand treatment opportunities for non-violent drug offenders, as well as featured presenter William Cope Moyers, author of Broken: My Story of Addiction and Redemption.
Following Mr. Moyer’s presentation there will be a moderated panel discussion on reentry. The panel will be moderated by Michael Aron of NJTV; on the panel will be William Cope Moyers, Don Forsythe (Employability Development Program, New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development), John Hulick (Governor’s Council on Alcoholism and Drug Abuse), Raquel Mazon Jeffers (New Jersey Division of Mental Health and Addiction Services), and two Rescue Mission residents.
