On Saturday, April 25, 2009 Allies, Inc. will be sponsoring their 4th Annual 5K Run Fund Raiser entitled Country Roads. The Run will start at the Cream Ridge Winery and proceed through Walnford Park in the scenic thoroughbred horse country of Monmouth County, NJ. The events of the day will include a measured and timed 5K Run, a 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk and Children’s Run. Our previous 5K runs were very successful. It is an incredibly successful event that has grown each year.
Allies, Inc. is a private, non-profit organization with our headquarters located in Hamilton, New Jersey. They provide support services to individuals with special needs to assist them in finding housing and employment opportunities in the community. We believe that all individuals with special needs can live and work in the community and can contribute to the community in a meaningful way. Allies serves 1500 individuals state-wide and manages support services at more than 120 homes throughout the state of New Jersey. The organization is committed to helping people with special needs build full lives in the community.
The event is expanding to include a “Health Fair” with vendors from a wide range of areas supporting good health. It will be a great way for runners to get information on healthy living and the vendors will be able to share their products or services with a new customer base. All vendors will be recognized in the program event.
I hope that you will consider becoming a vendor for this event. Fees to exhibit start as low as $50. We hope that you will share this information with family, friends and local businesses who may also be interested in being vendors or participating in the event.
