ABS was proud to support the Eighth Annual Kidsbridge Humanitarian Awards Celebration on November 6th at the Trenton Country Club. The event honored business, foundation and educational leaders for their humanitarian efforts on behalf of our community.
Kidsbridge is a nonprofit organization dedicated to bullying prevention, character education, tolerance and the celebration of human diversity. The Kidsbridge Tolerance Museum, located in Ewing, NJ, is an interactive training and educational learning lab that focuses on exploring what youth and educators can do to impede bullying, racism and prejudice in their schools and communities.
Each year more than 2,500 students and educators participate in our evidence-based “museum experience.” In educating youth, we also re-energize teachers and counselors to reinforce positive behavior in the areas of empathy, diversity appreciation, respect, bullying prevention, character education and pro-social skills. Since 2006, more than 18,500 youth and their educators have visited the Museum – improving the quality of life in local communities with positive and lasting results.
Kidsbridge also provides weekly pro-social life skill programs for elementary and middle school youth in Trenton public schools, reaching an additional 100 students each year and conducts an annual competition and celebration for youth humanitarian and community service in Mercer County.
